The combination of the Eight of Wands and the Death card in the context of setting up an initiative suggests a dynamic, transformative process with powerful implications for change and growth. Here’s an interpretation:

1. Eight of Wands:

This card often symbolizes rapid movement, momentum, communication, and opportunities. It suggests that your idea has a lot of energy behind it and could take off quickly once you start putting things in motion. It could also represent the speed at which messages (like those on your website) will travel and reach others. There’s a sense of alignment and clarity—this could be a time to act decisively.

2. Death Card:

In our system, the Death Card (and many others) are asking you to see your plans and worries might be from the NAC or NFC seeking to deal with what they fear about infinity. More in the ouroboros post, but the NFC sees time as the eternal now (frozen) so wants to flee or conquer, but the NAC sees time as infinitely stretching in a sequence o moments so wants limits. This relates to the laustrophobia/agoraphobia dilemma discussed in my book. Using NEAR, you notice the idea or visions of success (or loss, defeat, death), then get into your body for the current experience. Any tension? Then acknowledge adn accept (maybe Byron Katie work to qustion assumptions). then make a Request. In this case, it’d be to THANK (To Humbly Appreciate Not Knowing) so your parts (NAC and NFC) can feel understood and relieved of needing to fear infinity (and death/eternal life) as they don’t understand – and can’t understand – infinity.

Traditionally, card represents transformation, endings that lead to new beginnings, and letting go of old ways to make space for growth. It aligns perfectly with the idea of creating something new (like your website) by leaving behind fears, hesitations, or outdated beliefs. It may also symbolize the transformative potential of your idea, as Tarot and therapy together could help clients undergo profound personal changes.

What it could mean for your project:

Momentum and Transformation: You are on the brink of launching something that has the potential to grow and evolve quickly, but it may require you to release old mindsets or embrace a completely new approach to how you see your work or connect with clients.

A Call to Action: These cards suggest it’s time to act—don’t delay! But also be ready to adapt and evolve as the project develops.

Empowerment Through Change: Your work may not only transform others but also challenge you to grow personally and professionally. The combination hints at the possibility of profound impact on those you reach.
